The Hidden Injury (2019)

‘This photobook is a psychological landscape of my mind riddled with the side effects of Post-Concussion Syndrome and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. This work was made after two years spent in recovery from a Traumatic Brain Injury. The book itself works to combine my various states of mind, as well as images of the people that were pillars of hope, during this time for me. Holistic medical approaches and diary entries from start to end. The book as a whole attempts to reach a conclusion and close chapter on a trauma.

The cover for this book comes from a large abstract painting I did (2016) in the early days of my injury, while being concussed. It was an expression of mine, having a punch-drunk brain, absent of the ability to over think or my memories.’
